Our Mission
Have you ever wondered what 3 dangerously well fed (and handsome) guys you've never heard of or met think about the best steakhouses across the country? Yes? Well you're in the right place.
Just like eating delicious steaks, The Meatsmen is a hobby for us. After several meals, we realized maybe other people might want to know what they were getting into before spending way too much money for one meal. Don't get us wrong, we aren't complaining about the massive burden placed upon us in any way. We shoulder this responsibility selflessly because we are the meat eaters the world needs right now, not the ones they deserve.
Long story short, we went to enough steakhouses that we started to notice the places each excelled and lacked. One of us (who shall remain nameless along with the other two) had a Dalai Lama-like epiphany. He decided that for 200 bucks, everything should be perfect. These places aren't Applebee's damn it so they had better have their shit together. You don't go out for a nice meal to eat mozzarella sticks and have the server go take a 15 minute smoke break while you wait for your check only to come back smelling like 100 butts when all you want to do is leave. The places on this website are for a great cocktail, some phenomenal finger food, a Teddy Roosevelt type steak, another cocktail, maybe dessert, then a romp around with the misses (or mister) who didn't eat any of those things and wants to go to sleep.
The reviews you read on this website are mainly from one full-on dining experience. You'll get our perspective followed by our highly sophisticated rating system (1-100). Maybe one day if anyone reads this website we will add a comment section where people can tell us we're wrong and then we will proceed to not give a shit. We aren't sponsored, we don't have a bias one way or the other, we understand restaurants have off days and we might end up forgetting the last 1/3 of the meal depending on the drink selection but we will do our best to give you an objective opinion of what these restaurants have to offer.
